Piha Surf Life Saving Club enjoys possibly the highest profile in the country – not only due to the top rating television programme but also as the busiest patrol in the country. Piha SLSC have a proud history as a patrolling club and it is a set requirement that every member perform patrol duties before they can compete in any Surf Sports.
